We are North Central Pennsylvania Pheasants Forever Chapter 630, a nonprofit conservation organization dedicated to the protection and enhancement of pheasants and other upland bird populations in North America. Our chapter covers Elk, Clearfield, Jefferson counties and all counties that touch Elk County - and even a little further!
Pheasants Forever is the only national organization with a model of chapters keeping 100% of the funds they raise. While belonging to a larger national organization that has a voice on federal and state conservation policies, chapters are tasked with finding projects for their funds. North Central PA PF takes full advantage of this model using funds raised for projects locally as well as other areas in the state of Pennsylvania.
North Central PA Pheasants Forever 630's members are truly passionate about creating, preserving and restoring habitat that benefits pheasants, quail and other upland wildlife. This unique model empowers local chapters with the responsibility to determine how 100 percent of their locally-raised conservation funds will be spent.
Whether it's through improving habitat, informing the public about land management or educating future generations of hunting enthusiasts, conservation is the underlying principle in all we do at the grassroots level. Protect. Enhance. Hunt.
Protect - our upland hunting heritage through outreach and education
Enhance - our local habitat through projects that benefit not only pheasants, but also grouse, woodcock, turkey, songbirds and pollinators
Hunt - our chapter sponsors and provides dog handlers for youth, veterans, women or anyone who wants to learn how to hunt responsibly and respect our natural resources.
Join us today and make a positive impact.
Our Local chapter is empowered to determine how 100% of our locally raised conservation funds are spent; the only national conservation organization that operates through this truly grassroots structure.
